You enter the private pool area where the natural hot springs water is warm and inviting. The water is body-temperature, like a warm, soothing bath. Your Watsu® provider places a float on each leg for buoyancy, while briefly discussing how your body is feeling and addressing any health concerns. You’ll be guided in setting an intention for your session, followed by a quiet moment shared between you and your watsu provider to breathe and greet the water.
The watsu provider will effortlessly glide you onto your back, supporting your head and lower back throughout the session. Your nose and mouth will not go underwater, so your breathing will not be interrupted.
The supportive warm water allows your body and mind to rest into profound relaxation, a much deeper state of relaxation than a massage table will allow. Your body is gently rocked, swayed, and stretched into different positions while moving through the water currents. Your body receives passive stretching and movement throughout the session.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
